We Meet
Grace Brooks was born Linda Grace Shortt in 1945 in the gold mining town of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada. She lived eighteen years of her life in Sesekinika, Ontario before shifting west. Sesekinika was, and still is, a mere hamlet, but tripled in size over summer vacation as this was a favorite vacation spot. Tourists from as far away as Florida rushed to buy, or build, cottages along Sesekinika Lake's beautiful shores.
Grace's publishing experience consists of having five books in The Asquinn Twins Series published (The Asquinn Twins Come To Forest LAKE, booK 1, The Fork In The Trail book 2, published by Published by Parables.Book Two is also published by Friesen Press under the title, The Asquinn Twins:Where The Trail Forks, Vancouver British Columbia, Canada. Author pseudonym, Heather Radford. No Greener Pastures, book 3, published by Lanico Media House in Houston, TX in the United States. Book Four, Sihon, is now available. Grace has also used the pen name, Lynette Tamar Mark, under which she wrote A Dog for Keeps. She's written, under Linda Grace Brooks, A Dog To Cherish, and Snow Queen's Forever Home.She also writes regularly for her church newsletter, Baptists For Liberty, and a publication in a seniors magazine, Manitoba Seniors.
Grace now lives in The Pas, northern Manitoba with her husband, and Kali, the Papillion
